The owner, Jim Thrasher, has over 20 years experience in the hair industry.  He is a Certified Master Haircolorist as well as a Master stylist who has worked in prestigious salons in Beverly Hills, CA and Boulder, CO before opening his very own salon here in Westminster, CO.  Education is one of the most important aspects of our salon.  We strongly believe in not only educating our stylists on the latest styles and techniques, but also our clients.  Something we hear all too often from our clients is the fact that they have trouble recreating their "salon" look at home.  We strive to educate our clients on the styling process as well as the products we use on their hair that will help them achieve that "salon" look after they have left the salon. If you are looking for a great cut or color service, something that will compliment your features, enhance your natural beauty, and give you an added confidence, then look no further.

Sadly, come January 2009, Lyndsay will be leaving us to move to New York and pursue her hair design career there.  As one of the first stylists to work in our salon she will be greatly missed  as she has become one of the family!  She promises to stay in touch and we promise to keep all of you updated when asked.

Bumble and bumble Network Educator

My name is Summer Rader.   I believe education to be the back-bone to any successful business and hair design is no exception.  I have attended and successfully completed many classes throughout the years to help me refine and fine-tune my skill as a hair designer.  I continue intensive training courses in New York every year thrgough the Bumble and bumble University.  I am certified as a Master Hair Stylist, Master Hair Colorist as well as a Network Educator.  Although I enjoy all aspects of doing hair, my passion is for color.  To brighten up someone's appearance by adding highlights or complementing someone's skin tone by altering their color is what I truly enjoy best.  I believe that there is no better feeling than when you treat yourself to a pampering color service and leave feeling renewed and ready to take on the world.  That is when I feel like my work has truly made a difference.

My name is Jaclyn Bravo.  I have had the pleasure of working in my preferred field of expertise for the past six years. I began cosmetology school at Ultima College of Cosmetology at the age of 16. Once I graduated, I began working as an apprentice at an upscale salon in Boulder under a nationally renowned colourist.  During my time working as an apprentice I gained a tremendous amount of skills that helped me to be the successful and talented hairdresser that I am today.  I have received my certification as an American Board Certified Master Haircolorist and I specialize in haircolor, hi-liting, lo-liting and color correction.  I strive to be the very best I can be by continuing my education and training with a master haircuter as well as taking master color classes.  I absolutely love what I do.  One of the things I love most about my job is seeing people walk out of the salon with a renewed sense of confidence about themselves.

My name is Brynn Warner.  The hair industry has been a passion of mine since childhood and I am very excited to have the opportunity to practice my craft here at Appearances.  I have an intense and ongoing interest in improving my craft through education and have attended several classes and workshops since graduating the Gene Juarez Academy in Seattle, WA (The top rated cosmetology school in the Northwest). My name is Thea Cross.  I received my education in California at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and continue to stay up to date on the latest trends and styles through various continuing educational courses and seminars.  I have a passion to create beautiful styles and colors for hair.  I am relatively new to Appearances Hair Color & Design Studio, but my passion has been alive for several years and I continue to actively work on my career every opportunity that presents itself.  Education is extremely important to me and I take advantage of every opportunity to learn the latest styles and techniques so that the clients who sit in my chair can feel confident they are receiving quality services.

My name is Lauren Lyke.  I love the fashion industry and everything that goes along with it.  I have received extensive training through the Academy of Cosmetology Arts as well as with Jim, at Appearances Hair Color & Design Studio.  I continue to craft my art through additional educational opportunities, such as Vidal Sassoon classes and PSI Seminars.  I am friendly, self-motivated, upbeat, and confident.  When it comes to hair, I love that I have the ability and skill to fine-tune someone's appearance and help them feel and look beautiful.  What drew me to Appearances Hair Color & Design Studio was the upbeat atmosphere as well as the sophisticated, yet creative expression - all of which align with my personality and goals.  I am thrilled to be a part of this very skilled team of individuals.
